Service Description
Doula services: To help reduce the need for assisted vaginal delivery and lower the likelihood of cesarean birth, take some pressure off of the birthing person's partner, family, and friends; help navigate confusing situations, and create a more positive and empowering pregnancy, labor and birthing experience. • Physical support: Massage, breathing exercises, Prenatal Yoga, Birthing positions, and comfort strategies. • Emotional support: Listening, reassurance, and validating emotions. • Partner support: Breaks, answering questions, and strategies for the non birthing person. • Advocacy: Making preferences known to the healthcare team. • Postpartum support: Creating a postpartum plan and discussing feeding goals. • Information and education: Pointing to evidence based resources, and childbirth education. Our DONA approved and certified professionals offer numerous benefits to expectant mothers, including improved birth experiences, fewer interventions, shorter labor times, and better communication with healthcare providers. Our doulas provide essential advocacy, postpartum support, and empowerment, contributing to reduced anxiety and depression among new mothers. This holistic approach not only enhances the overall birthing experience but also has the potential to lower healthcare costs, making our services a valuable investment for both individuals and the healthcare system as a whole. Cancellation Policy
At the time of booking, tuition must be paid in full or a payment of at least 25% of the total cost of tuition must be made. Payment plans include 4 biweekly payments with the full balance being due by end of the program. Failure to do so will result in the training program completion certificate being withheld and the students' exam seat unreserved. Cancellations or reschedules must be communicated with the program instructor in writing at least 72 hours before the start of class or a fee of 25% of the tuition will be applied. Notifications prior to 72 hours before the start of class will receive a full refund of monies paid. No shows will automatically forfeit 100% of monies paid. We want to ensure transparency and fairness for both students and training providers.
